This substantial natural amethyst piece is covered with countless fine druzy crystals in deep burgundy-red tones, creating an exceptionally glittering, sugar-like surface. Two white calcite rhombohedron crystals sit proud on the face of the specimen, providing a striking contrast against the rich red druzy field. A natural cavity in the upper section adds further depth and character.

The outer matrix edge has been shaped and polished, framing the natural crystal surface and allowing the specimen to be displayed upright or flat.
